Alone

I didn't know if it was hard to read for some, like, say, if you were color blind... Well, you're in luck, I just so happened to have it riiight here: X3

I sit alone,
the only sounds are my shallow breathing and my broken heart beating slowly...
Still, I listen hard for your footsteps,
But they do not come...
Then, I hear something;
My heart, so fragile, so delicate, breaking into a thousand pieces that only you could fix...
Tears flow down my cheeks as I silently sob...
Now, I've learned my lesson,
Do not rely on others, or you will be broken...
Is this my true fate?
Could the force holding the universe together condem a person to such an agonizing fate?
Now, I have realized, I walk alone...
My road through the hollow, empty fog leads no where but pain and despair...
The only thing holding me together is the memories of the past, OUR past,
As I walk alone, this is what I think of.
Us, together, in love....
I can only hope my shattered heart's remains can remember these moments as well, instead of this aching, agonizing, lonely pain....
